Returns Policy

This Returns Policy applies to purchases from Great Southern Scuba Co. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product has a major problem, you may be entitled to choose a refund, replacement, or repair. If a product has a minor problem, we may choose to repair it, replace it, or provide a refund. We will not ask you to deal only with a manufacturer when the issue is our responsibility as the seller.

Change-of-mind returns

For change-of-mind returns, please contact us within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original saleable condition, with original packaging, tags, manuals, accessories, and proof of purchase. Return postage for change-of-mind returns is the customer’s responsibility.

Items that may not be accepted for change of mind

Unless required by law, we may not accept change-of-mind returns for used dive equipment, items exposed to water or salt, gas fills, custom orders, special-order items, clearance items, service work, training, downloadable products, or hygiene-sensitive items such as mouthpieces, masks and snorkels once opened or used.

Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items

If an item is faulty, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered, contact us as soon as possible with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos where helpful. We will assess the issue and provide the appropriate remedy required by law.

How to start a return

  1. Email dive@greatsouthernscubaco.com.au with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Wait for return instructions before sending anything back.
  3. Pack the item securely. For change-of-mind returns, the item must arrive back in saleable condition.

Refunds

Approved refunds will usually be processed back to the original payment method. Processing time may vary depending on the payment provider or bank.
